I'm usually ok with writing letters to parents, but I've just realised I've made a boob regarding payment. A newbie is starting 20 September, just after school and I always inform parents they need to pay up front. The mum gets paid 25th of each month and I stupidly have written down 25th Sept as first payment due
I'm such a dork! Anyway, would you leave it this once and just let her pay on the 25th, or should I write a letter saying I actually need payment before then - ie 20th or before? It's not going to be a fortune (unfortunately) so she should be alright paying.

I think I would let this month go but contact her and say you forgot to say that it is 1st of each month for every month following his initial month so the second payment will be due soon after.
