At Last!

After no enquires of months despite lots of advertising I've finally had twi enquiries. One is just for an hour after school three days a week and she starts tonight

the other is for an 8 month old baby two days a week. Both are good hours and fit around my own family and current mindee. Hopefully things have finally turned a corner.

Great news. It has take me almost a year to fill my remaining vacancy, little one started monday and not too bad at the moment.

Thanks everyone. I had the mum over today with an 8 month old little girl and it seemed to go really well, she was impressed with my policies and thought I was professional. Her current childminder is giving up cos of the paperwork so that went in my favour.

She has already seem three childminders and have another two to go so I'm not holding my breath but the little girl was lovely and it would be perfect if it goes ahead as term time only as well.

She is making a decision in the next couple of days so time will tell.

Just had the mum ring back to ask for references and a couple of questions about payment so sounding a bit more hopeful, fingers crossed

I hope it all works out for you. I have just signed a contact with mum who saw another couple of childminders before deciding on me (the best feeling ever) and I now look after her 6month old for 2 mornings a week.
