Default How much should you pay an assistant???

From a previous post I said that I had placed my advert with the jobcentre for an assistant. Starting to panic again now! Have had a couple of emails, one of which was from a 19 year old that has level 3 childcare! Anyway how much should I pay an assistant? would I pay more for someone that has a level 3? do I need to employ someone that has a level 3 as most nursery's do now? can I state that the holidays are set days??? I'm sure I'll think of many more things to flap about!!!

I think the JobCentre can help with this sort of thing. Obviously you will have to pay minimum wage but other things to consider are sick pay, holiday pay, maternity pay and entitlement to redundancy.
