Just been checking my local parents and the system takes it out to 15 miles from my postcode and there are only 20 'active' parents and they are all over 10 miles from me.

What is it like in your area? Do you get hundreds of them? Is my area the lowest count?

My area is pretty active - in particular for one school for which there are NO childminders!

Well, there are three schools and four pre-schools within 3 miles of me, but no-one seems to need a CM as most parents around here have extended familly or friends who pick up.

Just crazy how there can be very busy areas and totally dead areas, but there are kids out there, maybe the parents are so rich they only use nannies or just don't work

i dont understand that website...it says a set of parents are 2 miles away from me...in sheringham....ummmm....more like 26miles away!!!!!

rude,abrupt,held my moey for 180 days with no other reason than "there has been fraudulent use" £265 short over xmas cos of them

yeah i get that its a dodgy business but they can see from their end where its being done and it wasnt from me!!

so out of principle they can poke it
