Advice Please, Can i do this?

Good Evening!

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if i am able to do this-

Ive just had an enquiry for a 7 month old to start in the next couple of weeks, However i already care for a 8 month old, They would be on different days BUT the mum of the baby i care for now is going back to work in September and is changing days she needs care so therefore both children would attend on the same days. It would be 3 days of the week that i have both until November when the 8 month old turns one, So its basically a two month overlap of two children under 1.

Would i get a variation for this, How does it work, Is it issued straight away or does it take a while?

Any help on this matter would be fantastic. Thank you. x

Variations take a while and are usually given for continuity of care.

So you'd need to be looking after both babies on different days for a while and then ask for a variation because one of the babies was changing days.

They can take a good few weeks so you should apply as soon as possible.

also, by sept, the 8 month old will be almost 1

Thanks for your advice, I have the parents coming to visit tomorrow so fingers crossed it goes well and i can apply for a variation.
