i have been loking after lil 1 for 4 weeks and today he is not well has respiratory problems i feel awful to ask for payment of mother when they return as it states in contract. I no she will forget and i dont want to ask as she will be stressed please help

I always find it easier to write a nice reminder letter when I feel awkward requesting fees.

Lay the guilt on. I would call and say I know lo is ill but your rent/council tax is due to be paid tomorrow and you are relying on your pay to settle your bill, so please could she remember to bring the money.
