    Default Footprint poem

    Last week i was looking for ideas for fathers day gifts and i found a lovely poem that i could do with painted footprints with the LOs, something about footprints or footsteps, but now i cant find it! It was quite short and simple.
    Can anyone help please?!

    Is this it?

    Walk a little slower, Dad
    Cos I am only small.
    I’m following in your footsteps,
    And I don’t want to fall.

    Someday when I’m all grown up.
    You’re what I want to be;
    Then I will have a little child,
    Who’ll want to follow me.

    And I would want to lead just right,
    And know that I was true;
    So, walk a little slower, Dad,
    For I must follow you.

    Or this one?

    Daddy, daddy I have made, Prints of my little feet.
    Then you can remember when, I was so small and sweet.

    I will grow and ****** will all be in the past,
    But you can know my love for you, Daddy will always last.

    I have just been reading a poem that my uncle wrote which was read at his funeral and it bought a tear to my eye, thinking of how upset his daughter still is 2 1/2 years on, and the poor relationship my dad has with my brother and I, this has just made me cry!!!!

    Might use the first one for my littlest mindee whose dad will be having his first fathers day!

    thank you for sharing.
