i thought about all my friends!

who was great with children, i got on well with, understood what childminding was about, etc (also, didn't already work!)

then i asked them! the first friend i asked laughed at me!

then i asked another friend, who happened to be my neighbour, and she said yes! it did mean i had to factor her children into my thinking and when dealing with ofsted, but its worked ok, and she has now worked with me one afternoon a week for over a year, with barely a hiccup!

    good luck!

i also considered asking the grandmother of one of my mindees! in fact, i'm still thinking about asking her to be a back up assistant! ( also have my mum as a back up assistant )
