Default Car seat for 5 year old

I need to get a car seat for my new mindee who is 5 years old. Are the little booster seats ok or does it need to be one of the high-backed boosters?

I use a high backed booster seat for the children from 4 to 11 years ( my mindees tend to object after about the age of 7 tho as they are not babies so don't want to sit in a baby seat!).
I have the seats that convert into boosters when you take the back off so can easily be changed for different age children.

    Hope that helps.

I would say the hi-backed ones are preferable.

I think they are on about changing the law that all boosters up to a certain age have to be high backed.
