First SEF

can anyone help, I'm doing my first SEF but a lot of the questions relate to situations where i might have been looking after children for a while I think, so do they expect me to answer all the questions, Im confused!!

For example things like how well the children make friends respect each other
and tollerate differences!!

If i have only got a baby and only just started how can you fill the form in properly?

Hunt out the principles into practice cards that came with your Eyfs pack.

You will find lots of good ideas on them for answering quite a few of the questions.

The rest can come from your own knowledge of child development and good practice.

Say what you know... say how good you are... say how good you are going to be.

If you don't blow your own trumpet nobody else will!

I feel exactly the same- like i havent been doing this long enough to evaluate myself!

Yes its hard isn't it. My friend who has been childminding a long time said its best to do it now tho in case ofsted say they are coming, then we wont have any time to do it, it does take quite a while to complete.
Have been doing it slowly!!
