Pre-reg inspection been & done!Woo-hoo!!

Hi everyone,

This afternoon I had my pre-reg inspection & it went extremely well

Many thanks to all who offered me advice & reassurance over the last few months. I posted a thread about my 19 year old son having a police caution & you all said it would be ok so long as we were up front about it, you were right

the inspector even congratulated my son on his honesty & said that if we'd not declared it & it had showed up on his crb then it would have caused delays.

To anyone else about to go thru a pre-reg inspection please try not to worry too much (I know that's easy to say!) it is nowhere near as bad as you think it will be! My lady was lovely & treated me with respect.

Going to email my development worker now

Things are moving!!

My other good news today was a pass in my open Uni course E124 which now means I have the certificate in early years (level 4)

(did E123 last year)

A very happy soon to be childminder!

I am so happy that it all went well. It's nice to hear that the inspectors are nice. I should be having my pre-reg in January.

I am really pleased that it went well karen.

I am also gald to hear that your sons caution didn't cause any problems - we were pretty sure it would be ok but nice to hear it confirmed.
