    Default foreign students and childminding

    hello
    does anyone have foreign students in their home and childmind? As I was thinking about getting one in the summer. But dont know if ofsted are ok with this or if we are allowed to?

    contact ofsted and ask them, i see no imediate issue if the student is under 16 providing they have no impact on the care you provide to your under 8.s

    When I asked last year I was told each one had to have a check, you have to fill in a form from ofsted and also have a certificate of good conduct from the other country! May have changed but we decided it wasn't practical.

    a cm friend of mine did it but only under 16yrs....she has since given up cm but I would ring Ofsted and check
