    Default New Enquiry

Hi I have just hd an enqiry to look after 3, 5 and 9 year old just wondered what most of you guys do regarding families. Do you still charge an hourly rate for each of them or reduced rate. What about for school hols say 8am - 6pm.
    Any advice most grateful.

I dont offer discounts so I personally would charge my hourly rate for all 3 which is £3.50 but its your business if you wanted to offer a discount. I would also charge full fees for school holidays so would equate to £35 a day per child. HTH x

Me too. They all take a space so they all pay the same price. I suppose it depends how much you want them as full time care in the hols for 3 children will work out loads for one parent to pay.

Don't do discounts especially as older chikdren are harder work in my eyes - eat more and give more grief. i have a fee of £4 an hour for before and after school as opposed to £3.50 an hour for under 5's and a minimum of 3 hours which can be spread before and after school. If they only do before school it is a minimum of 3 hours money but if before and after school then that can combine the 3 hours (hope that makes sense).

In school holidays then I charge my normal hourly fee of £3.50. If children are under 8 then a retainer is paid for hte before and after school place if they do not attend every day but over 8's don't count in my numbers so not bothered about the retainer so much.

Yes I totally agree with everybody same fee for everyone.
They are still taking up a space even if they are in the same family.

I am afraid I don't do discounts either as a space is being taken regardless.

However if a parent asked I would probably negotiate a small discount
