Do you always tell people you're a childminder?
I look after 2 children most days. We often meet mums who assume that they're my children. If we're chatting then I quite often don't mention I'm a CM rather than their Mum, unless they ask something like 'does he sleep well at night time?'. There's no particular reason for this, it's just that they don't really need to know.
Do you make a point of letting everyone know the children in your care aren't yours?
