I have a 'Service Statement' which I tried to keep very simple.

it has 10 bullet points on it here is a few examples.

    - To provide a safeenvironment

    - To provide stimulating play activites which are appropriate to the ages and stages of your child.

    - To maintain trust & confidentiality

    - To provide a healthy variable diet and not give sweets.

    - To be a positive role model and promote personal and social skills.

I hope this gives you an idea of where to start.

I do give them a biscuit and they get biscuits at toddler group but I never give them sweets.

I suspect they get more than enough at home!

I don't give sweets and rarely chocolate... as soon as parents come I hear them asking for and getting lollies etc! Shocking what they are doing to their teeth!

Then I have to stop thinking that way because I end up sounding like my mother

I've had children turn up eating sweets for their breakfast (I give them b'f here but some parents just won't fight against the kids wishes) its infuriating.!!

    Anyway...

I am just in the process of writing my mission statement. Its just a small paragraph, I just have to decide on the final draft.
    Its something like
To provied a welcoming home envirnoment where children can grow and develop
but I need to incorporate some EYFS wording, watch this space
