I ordered a large plastic climbing frame once and it came in the biggest box I had ever seen! We all had a lot of fun that summer and not because of the climbing frame!

Cardboard box and blankets and pillows - keeps my own kids amused for hours - who needs expensive toys?

Its a song - often sung at holiday camps:

There was a time when my dad would say,
“Hey son, you can’t dance that way!
“If you know someone that you like lots
“Show ‘em the fish and the cardboard box!”

Okay, we’re gonna teach you how to rave
This is part one… Big Fish, Little Fish…

    1
    2
    3
    4

    Big Fish
    Big Fish
    Big Fish
    CARD-BOARD-BOX!

    Big Fish, Little Fish
    Big Fish, Little Fish
    Big Fish, Little Fish
    CARD-BOARD-BOX!

Big Fish, Little Fish, Cardboard Box!
Big Fish, Little Fish, Cardboard Box!
Big Fish, Little Fish, Cardboard Box!
    We’re all raving mad!

Now my mate Malc at the superstore
Said to me, “I can’t take no more!
“Don’t just stand there like a wally
    “Stack those shelves, shopping trolley!”

    This is part two…
You gotta stack the shelves and you got a shopping trolley with a wonky wheel

    1
    2
    3
    4

    Stack the shelves
    Stack the shelves
    Stack the shelves
    CARD-BOARD-BOX!

    (STACK ‘EM!)

    Stack the shelves, shopping trolley
    Stack the shelves, shopping trolley
    Stack the shelves, shopping trolley
    CARD-BOARD-BOX!

    (BIG FISH!)

    Big Fish, Little Fish
    Big Fish, Little Fish
    Big Fish, Little Fish
    CARD-BOARD-BOX!

Big Fish, Little Fish, Cardboard Box!
Big Fish, Little Fish, Cardboard Box!
Big Fish, Little Fish, Cardboard Box!
    We’re all raving mad!

Now you’re looking good, you’re looking sound!
Got your hat the wrong way ‘round
There’s no cure – no antidote!
Just yo-yo-yo and row the boat!

Okay, this is the last bit
You gotta get your yo-yo and you gotta row your boat!

    1
    2
    3
    4

    Yo-Yo
    Yo-Yo
    Yo-Yo
    CARD-BOARD-BOX!

    Yo-Yo, row your boat
    Yo-Yo, row your boat
    Yo-Yo, row your boat
    CARD-BOARD-BOX!

    (STACK ‘EM!)

    Stack the shelves
    Stack the shelves
    Stack the shelves
    CARD-BOARD-BOX!

    (TROLLEY!)

    Stack the shelves, shopping trolley
    Stack the shelves, shopping trolley
    Stack the shelves, shopping trolley
    CARD-BOARD-BOX!

    (BIG FISH!)

Big Fish, Little Fish, Cardboard Box!
Big Fish, Little Fish, Cardboard Box!
Big Fish, Little Fish, Cardboard Box!
    We’re all raving mad!

Right, now we’ve shown you how to rave
We’re gonna see how much you’ve learned
We’re gonna put it all together!

    1
    2
    3
    4

    (YO-YO!)

    Yo-Yo, row your boat
    Yo-Yo, row your boat
    Yo-Yo, row your boat
    CARD-BOARD-BOX!

    (STACK ‘EM!)

    Stack the shelves, shopping trolley

    I LOVE bubble wrap!

I find it very theraputic (sp?) !!

I love blowing bubbles (i.e. the kids ones with the wands) as well - I find that very relaxing. Is that weird?!

Not at all (unless im weird too) I spent ages blowing millions of bubbles for my kids the other day!

I also had a spare cardboard box after buying a tv for my DS for his bday - that was early Jan and its still going strong - I havent got the heart to get rid of it
