I am really losing the sparkly feeling of christmas, it is just a pain now, being a real bah humbug as don't want to write christmas cards!

It isn't even because of the events just before last christmas it has been happening for a few years, not really sure why, last year hasn't helped, it is just the feeling that it is an anticlimax, my christmas's dont suddenly turn into the lovely happy family, sitting watching a film, all getting on and being happy, maybe that is why!

I just told my dd (4) that father christmas fell of a roof and wont be able to deliver pressents this year suchhhhhhh an evil daddy lol

I know what you mean, I have been a bit like that over the past 5 years or so. Things got really c**p when 3 of our parents passed away in the space of a year and the kids were getting older. The following year I spent christmas day and boxing day in bed with terrible flu - very unlike me. Now kids are both teens and the grief we have had hanging over us all seems to be lifting. This year I am looking forward to it
