If you buy a kodak printer (mine was £40 from Argos....all in one printer, scanner, copier) the kodak ink is £6.79 for black ink and £9.79 for colour ink!!

It lasts quite a long time too!

    I swear by mine now!!

I did a little research for you and found that the HP Officejet Pro 8000 comes highly recommended. Generally HP stuff is really good. Click for Amazon linky!

I have the Epson S20 which uses the same cartridges as the SX100. I bought it because I thought that I could use the cheaper replacement cartridges that were available i.e. the Jetec ones, however this is not the case. The printer does not recognise the cheap cartridges so will not print using them, so I was not impressed.

The cheapest place I have found for cartridges is Argos, 18.99 for the three colour pack and 6.99 for the black (WHSmiths wanted 29.99 for the colour pack).

But the cartridges do not last that long, particularly when printing photos.

Oh, one last tip from me, if you do get another printer, try to avoid Lexmark ones. I got one of the all singing and dancing ones and it was a real pain in the rear to install (An im a techie geek!), the cartriges are expensive and until recently you could only buy the ones i need from PC world or Currys (who are owned by PC World) so they were really expensive.

I tried to do refills and they never worked. Each cartridge has a little chip in it with a serial number so the printer know its been refilled. Sneaky huh?!

    Lexmark. What a load of
