    Because I am new to CM can you tell me what makes good inexpensive birthday and xmas presents for mindees?

    I go to Wilkinsons or 99p Stores/Poundland. I usually get some colouring books and pens/crayons/pencils etc. A bit boring really.

    I like the book people online for items or quality save/home bargains normally do some good craft things.

    For xmas i like to give the children a collage of photos from days out etc
    you can do them on the kodak photo machines in boots for 99p

    Home and Bargain or B and M Bargains have some great presents that's were I got all mine from last year.

    Studio cards is quite a good place for personalised bits quite cheap!

    Cheap, but good quality books.

    Instore and Home bargains often have books for £1-£2 which are perfect.

    someone put a thread up about personalised PJ's for £5 and pencil cases for under £4. Studio cards I think.

    I'm doing that this year. Other than that try argos/yellow moon.

    Depends on the age of the child.

    Someone put a thread on about the Works - they had some lovely books and DVD sets for between £1.99 and £2.99 - that's what mine are getting for Christmas

    I ususaly buy a book or a puzzle for chirstmas with a small slection packs and for birthdays i spend about £5 on what i know the child would use/wear
