My DS always prefered his old shoes too

DD slept with the new shoes in the box so she could get them on as soon as possible the next morning

i ha d a boy that did that once, i took him to school still crying, the teacher had a word with me at the end of the day, she said he had cried on and off all morn until she let him put his pe pumps on as she couldn't stand it any more! lol.
During the afternoon she showed everyone in assembly how smart his new shoes were and how shiny they were.after that he was happy to wear them.

She thought it was hilarious!

yesterday my niece who is 5 cried because she didnt get to open the door and sobbed for 20 mins didnt help that my 2 yr old nephew was pointing " Baa (we dont no why he calls his sister this but doesnt even though he can say her name) crying like a baby" which only made it worse lol
