    Default late nights?

would you work till 10pm once a month? if you have how does this impact on your family or does the child just sleep after a certain time, would be a young child under 2yrs, somone has asked me to do this today and i said i would consider it , just concerned about the impact on my kids with regards to them going to bed whilst i am still working with another child.
what do you all think and how did you get on if you did/do this.

I've never worked that late - wouldn't have wanted to when my children were little in case it upset their bedtime routine.............. and I liked my evenings to myself

I know it's not overnight care but just double check it's ok with your insurance company and Ofsted first.

I'd do it if it suited. I'd just put the child in bed at usual home routine time

I have had children that late before. Not very often though. I just put them in sleeping bags in the playroom ( brother and sister ) and they had a camp out , they had a blast and fell asleep by 7.30

I don't have any little ones of my own though so in your case I'd probably just put the little one to bed.
