    Default Holiday charge?

Hiya everyone, What does everyone do re: charging for holidays? I don't know whether to take 4 weeks unpaid holiday a year and charge full fee when parents are on holiday or to charge half fee when I am on holidays and half fee when parents are on holiday? What does everyone else do? XX

I don't charge at all for my holidays but parents get charged full fee when their child is off - if they co-incide with mine then they get a good deal! lol

I have 2 weeks paid holiday.

My parents pay for 52 weeks a year and I refund any monies over two weeks holidays as and when it comes up.

I take 4 weeks unpaid holiday a year and parents are allowed 4 weeks at half rate. If holidays coincide it's half rate. I don't have set holidays each year and only usually give two weeks notice, so parents often have to pay someone else which I think works out too expensive.

I found that when parents were charged full for their holidays they didn't take any!!
If parents were off work but not actually going away, they brought the children to me.
I prefer a break with half pay
