    Default Obs help please

    Hi

I am really confused with obs.

Tomorrow I am taking my mindee and my DD to a childminder event at local children's centre and as many children will be there I was wondering if I should do Obs on mindee as to what he likes there, how he gets on with other children as he doesnt attend Nursery etc and only comes to me for a few hours one day a week! I dont have many obs on him (he is 18 mths) because he is quite shy, doesnt like to do things like activities, painting or play dough and really prefers to play with familiar toys such as jungle animals, tractors and cars!

    Any help would be appreciated.

My main observations are notes of the times when I think 'wow he's done xxx' or 'I must share that with his parents'!!

Sometimes when I go places or set up activities I will watch for things I want to spot like children doing something new or achieving a new milestone - I will note that as well.
