Can anyone advise me, Ive just had my pre-reg visit from ofsted, who said they will register me. I now have to go onto ICP course, but the next one in my area is not until March, can I start childminding when I receive my reg doc, even though I haven't been on training course, as I want to get on with things.

you need to have completed it within 6 months of registering i believe. Im having to travel some way to do mine as the local one i could have done was cancelled due to low numbers , and another local one is when i have a mindee and mum wont let him go in the creche for a couple of hours.

Thanks for info, so many procedures etc, getting really confused.
