Hi, does anyone know where you can buy cheap paper towels? can you recycle them?
I have 3 little ones and am doing 1 load of hand towels a week and storing and drying them is a pain!

Hi
I've just had an environmental health officer round. She said I had to have paper towels in the kitchen and the bathroom so was just looking at buying a couple of dispensers. Still doing research but have found a few types on smudge-dribble.co.uk.
I'll let you know if I find a bargain!

I use kitchen towel!!!!
When someone tells you nothing is impossible, tell them to go slam a revolving door
I get the big rolls of kitchen roll from pound shop x
I have individual towels...
I've always used individual hand towels and never heard of having to use paper towels, surely it's up to you as long as they are regularly cleaned?

me too, each child has one that lasts a couple of days.
i don't find them a pain to wash or dry as i usualy stick them in with bedding at the end of the week.
We use too many paper products in this world and waste too much without me adding to it!
flannels are also a good idea for drying hands on.
I use kitchen roll in the kitchen and a flannel in the bathroom for each child . . .
I use facecloths to dry hands as I only look after babies & toddlers at the moment and facecloths don't take up too much space!
I have individual ones too, they get changed daily and popped in the wash with my stuff.

I use flannels next to the wash basin, all the flannels are blue (same as my own towels) but have a colour coded hanging tags on them (got from pound shop to hang tea towels on) and their names written on the labels (as I do not wash the hanging tags) and I wash them at the end of the week with my own. Mrs Ofsted was impressed with this.
