Default New starter a no show

I was meant to have C today 9.30am - 11.30am for settling in period.

She hasnt turned up and I cant get hold of Mum!

She is the one I was sharing with another minder. The other minder is on hols so I dont know if she has heard from them or not.

I am annoyed because I had a phone call for twins on a friday only yesterday that I had to turn away because of C starting

Why do people do that? They have no consideration for us at all sometimes.

Maybe there is a genuinely good reason but if not it's not a good sign for the future with this family - in my opinion anyway.

Have you got the phone number for the twins incase?

Oh dear - that is such bad manners not to contact you. Could be a genuine reason though.

    Fingers crossed it works out.

Hi some parents are soooooo rude
Maybe there is a genuine reason...they could still pick up the phone or even text you.
If you have the twins phone number i would contact her good luck K

Ive just been back through my phone and managed to get the twins phone number.

Now I am kind of hoping that C doesnt turn up because she was only temp 5 hours a day till July and the twins are a full permanent day.

I am wondering if I have been caught out here because we ran out of time and didnt have time to sign the contract so I wrote down my reg number so she could sort out her tax credit.

I know, I know, what a silly thing to do!

She is ok now I think.

Feel really sorry for her actually. She is a lone parent trying to get back to work so I really want to help her.

At least she hasn't messed you around or used you for your URN to claim benefits.

    Hope it all works out

Oh well, it's good she's a genuine client then.

I'm sure you'll get more calls soon that will fit around her, don't give the twins another thought, it was obviously not meant to be at this time.

The twins Mum has rung me again this afternoon.

The poor woman cant find anyone.

I rung OFSTED and they said they would consider a variation as I have one space but cant take them both on and they wouldnt want them split up.

Mum is going to come and visit me next week if she doesnt have any luck over the weekend.
