Was thinking about this as I will be closer this year but as will be new to the area I will probably have to pay for it myself. Would get the early train down for the morning and probably forego the evening meal. Or I could drive. Need to think.

I'm not keen on going alone so will have to try and get a friend to come with me

Im going, been saving this year but we may get some funding

Few of us are going to make a weekend of it, nightclub after the dinner

We went to Torquay and had a great weekend in 07, it helped that we all get on and enjoyed the social side so it did not feel like work

Are there many "single" childminders there or is it mainly groups? Thinking I might be a billy no mates if everyone goes in groups!

Went in a group to Torquay and had a great time. Network had just started so we got some funding for it.
Any ideas where to go for funding this year as network got no budget?

I'm going this year. Conference booked, hotel booked just got to book the train. To earliy to do that yet. I have booked in the Queens cause its next to the station and so easy to get to. I've only been once before and that was in Torquay. There are 5 of us that I know of so far coming for the East region.
