one pound six ounces

I only grew the rocket potatoes.
And as that's the first time I've ever grown potatoes, it's the best I've ever achieved too

Also - I believe that makes me the winner so far

Did we have a prize?!

ohh I didnt seperate my two types just put all into bucket, so I dont know individual brand weights but all together they weigh.............................

4lbs 2.5oz

True... but I'm assuming they were similar sized crops?

Mine weighed......

Rocket - 1039g (2.29lb)

Emerald - 1146g (2.53lb)

And that's with forgetting to water, quite often...

And which ones were the kids more interested in, the teeny tiny baby ones, you can't do anything with!!!

I DON'T WANT TO KNOW!

as I said in an earlier thread i got NONE!, planted 5 seed poatoes in a large compost bag, and harvested them last week and all i got was 5 potatoes that were green! probably the original 5 lol.
I am never growing potatoes again!

My lettuces look good tho

I harvested my spuds today (that have been some what neglected

) with the children and got.................

Rocket 1lb 80z

Emerald 1lb 9oz

lots and lots of tiny ones but the children enjoyed washing and weighing them promise to try harder next year and look after them

I pulled one up the other day to see and there were 5 very tiny spuds growing off the seed potato. Think they definitely need a bit longer.
