avatar (I think) help!

I'm not very technical at computers and basically a bit thick!
I want to put a picture next to my name, i think they are called avatars but not sure! I have a smiling flower logo that i use on my CM paperwork that i would like to use, is it easy to do or a bit complicated?

its easy!!

go into user CP (top left of the page), choose the change avatar - click browse and it should go into you pix files - click on the one you want to choose and click on save back onthe user CP bit

et voila

Oh just tried and got right to last stage when its said upload failed! Not sure i resized it properly
Will try again tommorrow as going to bed now.
