Ear infection

Hi hope someone can advise, are we allowed to give antibiotics these days and should a child with ear infection be home anyway??

Yes we can give medications - but you need the permissions, recording of when given (including when the child had a dose at home), how to give it, store it.

Providing the child is not ill (ie the anti'bs are doing their job) then I don't see why they can't attend

One of my mindees has lots of ear infections. As Pip says it is fine to still care for a child if they are well enough.
