Default Green fingered I am not!

Thought i would show you our efforts at growing runner beans and tomatoes. Its early days but so far they have survived! I am not very good with plants so this was a brave topic for me Sorry picture is not brilliant but we have painted the pots too with names etc.

    Well done

I am really chuffed that the cress we sowed has thrived (even the kids said that I wasn't too touch it!!!) actually - I nearly killed the cress at teh weekend -forgot to keep it moist.

The sunflowers - well I have had to tell the children that they take a while to sprout and that we need more sun!!! need to hastily do some more

And joy of joys I have managed to keep 2 cacti going for 9 whole months now (killed the last two)

We planted dwarf sunflowers in pots last week. Sent them home to grow! Kids only come 2 days a week and I don't trust myself to care for them for the other 5

Well done - hay they are growing.

I tend to kill (not on purpose!!!) plants. I love them & am always buying them but hubby is forever telling me off as they never last long x

I can keep plants alive if they need absolutely no attention beyond the odd watering when I remember

    Well done to you!
