    I need to buy a printer for all my cm paperwork. I wouldn't need to buy one if it wasn't for cm as have managed fine all these years.

    Of course i/we will end up using it for other purposes...can i put 50% of it down as an expense?

    I bought one when i started childminding and put the whole cost of it through as expenses! I wouldn't have bought it for personal use as like you i have never had the need for one before. make sure you put the cost of ink cartridges down too.

    Put it down as a new purchase and not a replacement (100%) otherwise it will be covered under wear and tear
