Lovely thought but I'll stick with my flowers.....
One of my other mindees mums left a bag of oranges for me on the doorstep a couple of weeks ago because they had an excess of them at work.....

On Sunday, I saw mindees and mum walking up the path. I inwardly cursed because not a day passes without having to do something childminding related. Then instantly felt guilty when I opened the door as they had brought me an easter card handwritten by the children and an egg-cup containing mini-eggs.

Its lovely to be appreciated

Thats lovely!! one of my parents does little things like that it does make you feel good!!!!!!!!! unfortunately most of the others don't bother

It always makes me feel appreciated when they do little things like that - and feeling appreciated isn't a standard feeling in this job

its nice when they appreciate you, thats me for this week all mindees away home, have godmothers funeral on tue so thursday before kids again. my youngest took great delight in handing out the easter eggs this week, just waiting to give her a diplomatic answer when she asks if any of them handed any eggs in here.
