Default Network childminders & getting paid

just a question that suddenly popped into my head.

When you get referrals from the network how do you get paid/how much...is it your fee? or do they give a set amount etc?

    thanks

I don't think there's anything different about a network ... ? They just refer people to you don't they?

I don't pay my network anything but they don't get me work.

I am a gem for new childminders and the networks pay me for doing this.

I am a network childminder. No different really apart from I can say I am a network childminder, I got a little leaflet I can give to parents that says I keep up to date on my training etc. I also have regular visits from network co-ordinator to discuss problems and we look at a different standard or subject each time I meet her. I don't have to pay her anything.

Wouldn't say I benefit from extra work at all, most parents don't care if your a network childminder or the No. 1 childminder in the UK, it's how much you charge that most parents seem to look at.
