sand?

the time has come to empty the sand pit and refill with fresh but what do i do with the old sand, is it ok to take it to the dump? or put it in the bin or what do you do with it, we have a big sand pit which took about 10 bags of playsand last year now im stuck as to how to dispose of it

what? you have sand left IN your sandpit? !!!

mine is usually scattered across the garden, in the veggie patch, in the dumper truck and everywhere else - NOT in sand pit !

Wow! what a lot of sand!!! Mine only takes 2 bags so a i often spread it over the grass back and front ant it helps with draining the sometimes boggy ground.

I'm sure there will be others along with some good ideas.

I spread mine across my grass as well

I hardly ever have any left but if I do I dig in into my borders for drainage, put a bit in my compost bin and on the grass
