Can you prove that it is for the benefit of the little ones you look after?

Mine are over 12 and therefore it doesn't do me any good but if you have little ones yourself, I think the matter could be contested.

    I would ask the IR.

If you consider the tv on a floor mount stand to be dangerous to the younger children then you have risk assessed and justified the mounting on the wall.

    thanks

my friends 18 month old daughter almost pulled it over once, which is what is making me want to wall mount it, so it is secure and out of reach

i did speak to my inspector about my TV, and i said i would either be wall mounting it or putting a barrier around it, they work out at roughly the same price, she agreed it needed to be made secure

I think you have more than justified why it needs to go on the wall - claim all costs
