,,, because i had my QA Network monitory visit and it went soooo well

and a lot of it was thanks to you,,,

most of the time it was about my Obs and how i link to the 6areas of learning and she said i could copy the wording from the book!!

i showed my files and at last she agreed it is too much so decided to do the daily diary sheet of basic info for parents and the diarys (with links to EYFS and the areas of learning, etc) as my Obs, ass and next steps and not to let parents take it home as it never comes back,,,

then she said as your accredited i think your doing great and everything is in place just remember to put what you have told me into your SEF,,, the only thing is im not accredited so she went on to say well i dont know why not your more than following the EYFS and more,,,

arrr i said i have THE FORUM to thank for that,,, she didnt know much about it so i told her and that every cm in our area should be on it...

put that in your SEF too she said ,,,PARTNERSHIP WORKING working with others for the good of every child

and childminders i said ,,,i couldnt have worked it all out on me own..

so ladies n gents i just had to say im well chuffed today and feel more confident about myself and my setting,,,and a BIG THANK YOU to every one drinks are on me xxxxxxx

Unfortunately no point in thanking me for help cos I probably didn't give you any I'll be coming to you for help in linking the obs to the 6 areas. No matter who tells me and how simply, I can't get it!!

Im still on cloud 9 it feels gr8 ,, sarah helped with a simple format for next steps, but i just did a lot of forum reading on other peoples questions to get some results i needed,

she also loved the posters i have around the room and again some of them were links from the forum too,

she did wonder what the forum was about and i said a group of nutters talking about crazy parents and screeming kids pmsl

but i did say how much the forum is a life line to minders trapped to the setting with school runs etc and no time for socialising with others,

I thought the systen i had was just about working but had problems gettig feedback from parents so i was told if a parent said something to me, to write this down as verbal feeb back,,better than nothing,

so i gave a big pat on the back to the forum and all who support her as i have a glass of red waiting for later and i think a few members are on V&C
