    Default Self Help Cards

Does anyone use self help cards?

I have a few but I'd like to know if anyone else uses them and what kind of pictures you have on them please?

They are little pictures on a piece of paper about 3" x 3" and they have pictures on them. The ones I have are: Inhaler, toothbrush, apple, banana etc. If a child has trouble communitcating they can just pick up a card and point to it.

I only have a few and that's why I wanted to increase the cards that I have

Thanks for that. I havent had to use them in that way.

I have a set of cards a little bigger than a standard playing card which I got with a childrens CDRom from D.K. years ago. The set has 26 cards with letters on one side and objects on the othe ranging from apple to train etc. I use these with the children in numerous ways.
