    Default accident book????

    a mindee has come to me with a small burn on her arm where she toched mums hair straightners. do I need to put this in my accident book??

    I would put it on an existing injuries form as it didn't happen whilst with you!!

    No in your existing injuries record with an explanation from parent (and from the child if old enough to tell you) of how it happened and signed by parent.

    This should be done before parent leaves the child with you (so that parent can't later say the injury was caused whilst the child was in your care)

    have told her that I will put it in book she will sign it on collection.
