As i dont drive we usually stay close to home, but have been thinking that before i had mindees in hols we used to go on days out when marc was off, would i be able to take mindees with us if we went anywhere if we have proper car seats?
obviously his car is insured taxed and mot'd and he has been crb checked

Your insurance for the car would have to be business class - make sure they realise its for childminding and you would need permissions signed by parents too.
