Cross your fingers for me!!!

Hi everyone

Just wanted you all to cross your fingers for me. I have had a call this moring from a lady whos childminder has given her just 2 weeks notice as shes stopping childminding! Her mums going to help her until she's sorted out luckely.

Anyway the lady wanted to know if i would be able to take on her child. Shes 8 1/2 months. I unfortunatly have my own daughter who doesn't turn 1 until March (oh my god, where has that time gone? ) so if she could manage until then no problem. She sounded really positive & said she's speak to her mum tonight then hopefully get back to me tomorrow.

I know i shouldn't get my hopes up but its so hard not to. It will be a part timer all day Wed, Thurs & Fri so i really hope that she gets in touch as I only have a baby booked at the mo but not until Sept 1st!

I know what it's like getting excited about new mindees starting, i've got three starting in Feb/Mar and i'm soooo scared they will change their minds before hand, although they are all coming to complete their contracts this week, once thats over i shall feel a bit better i'm sure!
