i am in a flat -emergency exits?

Hi

I am in a flat on the 1st floor and have only one exit that is the main front door on the ground floor. How would we get out if there was a fire on the ground floor?

This has worried me. I know that if i had to get out i would get out from the window in the lounge and jump down but dont think ofsted will like this idea.

Ring your local fire brigade and see if they will come out and give you some advice.

ohhhh sarah i just love a person in uniform..:-) if there realy was a red hot fire would you think about it???? NOOOO jump out d window hun and when my x-hubby had a fire in his childhOOd home they put his bed out d window and jumped!

you think on your feet! where is the fire, where can we get out...

GET OUT ,,,,STAY OUT,,,, CALL OUT,,,,And....

when the nice men in uniform turn up its to put out the fire and NOT to take you out on a date......
