First Day!!

Well here is am 1st days work in over 11 years and I'm poo-pooing myself

Mindees due to arrive 8am. Was up at 6.30am making sure everything was ready and ensuring that my tribe were up and ready in time.

I'll let you know how it all goes later.

Phew!! You earn your cash don't you!

Couldn't check in through the day as computer is in the spare room.

No really I 'think' I had I good day (a bit shell shocked at the moment) The morning was fine, dropped off DD and Mindee S (both aged 4) at playschool so was left with just Mindee J (aged 2) - I thought this bit would be a doddle but a 2 year old with no other playmate needs some serious entertaining

The afternoon I had all three which was noisey, but in a good way (laughing and singing not crying and shouting). S and my DD bickered a fair bit - as 4 year olds do - they are both SO ready for school in september

The mum collected at 3.45pm but stayed chatting for half an hour - however so IS paying me until 5.30 so ................

All in all not a bad day I think it will go smoother once I have planned themes/activities in place. Which is difficult as these are my only mindees atm and only Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Need some more warm bodies I think

Im really pleased it went well for you!

Im the same with the planning thing, I am doing it all but only have M Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is only 17 months and not remotely interested in anything other than tipping the toy box upside down! And I have J on a Thursday who is 3 so does enjoy the activites but I am feeling it is a lot of work and planning for just one child!

Hopefully more people will sign up with us both soon!
