Urgh guess what i just found!!

I just went to change lo's nappy and went into her bag (that her mumbrings each day) and pulled out a dirty nappy, not in a nappy bag! and a half eaten yogurt pot in a half sealed sandwich bag.

Minging!!

and I was annoyed because LO went swimming with mum yesterday - but mum had not taken her wet costume from the bottom of the bag...... so all her spare clothes, nappies etc are wet

Why is it parent's don;t check the bags

I now only send home the wet clothes and demand clean ones for the next day as spares!

Gross! Ugh, I bet Mum will go green when you mention it later...

The worst that has happened to me was when I put in my hand to get out a jar of baby food and pulled out a smashed babyfood jar complete with jagged edges and tomato based babyfood and slithers of glass all inside the bag.

If I'd put my hand in differently I could have sliced my fingers badly! Mum was beside herself at what had happened and ever so apologetic but it was in all fairness an accident and not something somebody would do on purpose so I told her to stop worrying. I'm just glad that there was no glass in the nappies/clothing I put on her LO that morning before I found the broken glass.

I look a bit more carfully when I go into the LOs bags now though, lol!

You know sometimes mums are busy and forgetful, I know I have put things in my changing bag (for my own child) in the past and forgotten about it until the next time I have gone to it!
