    Default Variation info needed

I have had a parent of a child I used to care for ask If I have spaces for after xmas for her baby (will be about 9mths then) and also her brother's g/f has asked for their son who is 10mths. I am already registered to have 2 under 1 but I probably wont have space for both on some of the days (until 2pm). Should I ask Ofsted for a variation and what info would Ofsted want when I write to them?

It will also help if you mention they are related (presuming they are)

They are related but only as cousins. Has any1 had a variation for children who are not brother/sister?

I would ask - they can only say no.

If you show in a grid who you have when it helps them see where the overlap is needed and the ages of the children affected.

I would state in your letter that these are children returning from previous care and that is usually counted as continuity of care.
