Why do parents make an appoinment and then never show?

It is so irritating - have tidied the house and kept my daughter from having her morning nap as I thought it would be nice for the mum to meet her. Was supposed to be here at 9.30 and have not appeared. This is after calling me at 9pm on Tuesday night!

Its very rude and inconsiderate. There may be a genuine reason as to why she hasn't turned up so give her a little while longer.

Its ok I had someone fill in the contracts the other day and they havn't contacted me since!

(thankfully I refused to sign them till she bought back the information about deposits etc - long story though).

Because the minute they find something 'better' like a relative to do it for free, they forget totally about us

Hard to believe how inconsiderate some people can be untill you become a childminder!!!!

Did she turn up or contact you?

No contact - no phone call to explain - nothing! Just plain rude.

You think I would'nt be surprised having minded off and on since Aug 05. I suppose its because I could do with filling some vacancies!
