parents coming this morning to meet me!!!

Have got a woman and her ex partner coming this morning with their 7 month old baby to meet me!!

Really nervous as never had a partner come before let alone an ex!!

Just hope the kids behave i could do with one more mindee regularly.

Good luck you will be fine

It does not matter if the partner is an X at the end of the day he is coming to see you because he is the babys parent - so treat him the same as you would any other

Was the mum that made me nervous yesterday - she phoned to make sure it would be ok to bring him and then added that he wanted to come as he didnt agree with her choice of minder last time!!!

Oh I can see why you would be nervous then

Try not to think about it and hope that he thinks that you are better than the last minder

You offering a good service so prove it to them

Well they have been and gone - and for the first time ever i am feeling very positive. Mum and Dad are both really nice people and really seemed pleased with my setting.

Mum explained that the last childminder used to let her down at the last minute sometimes not turning up at collection point to get child. And apparently in the year she was with her the child never made anything never painted or anything. So can see why its a big decision for them this time round.

They are seeing somebody else on Monday who apparently was recommended by a friend of a friend of a friend. So fingers crossed.
