4 new mindees

I have signed up 4 new mindees this week.

After having spent most of the summer turning people away I've at last got some people that can slot in with my fairly fully week!

I've got 2 after schoolers one day a week.
I've got 1 nearly 3 yr old one afternoon a week.
I've got a different nearly 3 yr old 2 afternoons a week.

All little bits and bobs but they fit in nicely and the pennies soon add up!

I'm getting phone calls every day at the moment, is it normal for parents to leave things to the last minute and wait till the end of the holidays to sort childcare out????

gosh you have done well .normally at this time of the year i get a few calls bu not had any at the moment could do with a few though

I have always found parents looking a couple of months ahead... except for the emergency care I have had.

Last August I got a call from 2 sets of parents wanting me to mind their children,but the thing is the school started 3 days later ,so yes they do wait to the last minute.When I said you are cutting it a bit fine trying to find care this late they said they had forgotten totally about it until the last minute

i wish i could get another one for a Thursday will just have
1- 22 month all day rest off my days are full.

You must be busting at the seems now! Great news though.

I wish we lived a bit closer, I haven't had any interest at all. I'm on the DISC site now though so maybe somebody will notice me (preferably after tomorrow
when they've put the area code right on the listing though, lol! )

I wish I have 3 mindees who turn up at 6.30am another at 7.45am and another at 8.30am, everyday!

The first 4 will go off to school but I'll still have a 2 yr old 9 hours a day, 4 days a week!

I will however get Friday mornings to myself, I'll set that aside to work on my OU course!

Oh and another enquiry today for a 10 month old and 3 yr old for 3 days a week, I'm trying to squash them in by using my assistant for the odd hours I'll be over my numbers! (good old mum the assistant!)
