Hi all.
finally after what seems like forever I have managed to get a new contract. I've been looking after one little boy, part-time for the last year but just haven't been getting any phone calls.
Anyway on monday night I got a call asking for a pre-school pickup just two days a week for about an hour and a half each day. I didn't want to turn it away so I arranged to meet mum and dad yesterday.
They already had a childminder set up for their baby girl two full days a week but she couldn't do the pick up for the little boy. Seven o'clock last night I got a call asking if I could have the two of them. Baby girl on Mondays and Tuesdays full time and alternate Wednesdays and little boy Pre-school pick up on the Mondays and Tuesdays and alternate Wednesday all afternoon.
Apparently they were really impressed with what I had to offer that they withdrew baby from their other childminder.(baby hadn't actually started with her yet.)
Feeling a bit guilty about other minder, but I really need the money.
It was only the other night I was considering giving up childminding and was moaning to Rascal so somebody must have been listening.
