    Thank you for sharing - I guess we have all come across children who didn't like certain textures eg sand or cooked pasta and just thought they were being difficult, so I did find this article very interesting as adults we all admit to not liking certain things or noises (I hate knives being sharpened) and our views are generally listened to - children can't always express what they like or dislike to it's up to us through observations to work those things out, we can sometimes try different (but similar activities) but sometimes need to know when to just accept that X doesn't do sand or Y doesn't like cooked pasta and probably won't like shaving foam or gloop either and that's their choice.
